The New Mexico Food & Agriculture Policy Council works at the federal, state, local and Tribal levels.

Through coalition building and consensus based decision making, we work to change policies and institutional practices to benefit historically disinvested communities, the systems that promote resilient economies grounded in sustainable agriculture, and the just and equitable distribution of economic and social benefits. The Council is a vehicle for promoting legislative effort and creating an effective voice for advocacy.

We meet on a bi-monthly basis throughout the year and on a weekly basis during the legislative session. To attend the next meeting, click here.
